The shot is from a few years ago. I keep going past it in my ‘favourites’ folder. Photographically it’s a terrible shot but I do like the effect [which came as a result of trying to salvage a badly taken shot on an old iPhone]. The people in the shot are dear to me but a lot has happened since then and I very rarely get to see them anymore. The little white dog and I go back a long way and she does not have many more years in her and my chances of seeing her again are slim.
